I've finished what's currently available and I'm thrilled with what I have read. This is going to be one of those visual novels that permanently alters my brain chemistry, I know it. I'm looking forward to more.
Been meaning to write something here for a while, so here we go!
Coquette is one of the most genuinely refreshing and stylistically juicy things I have ever read. It's so uncompromisingly itself in how it both doesn't pull its punches, and that the things that it cares about are so proudly worn on its sleeve.
The writing really really grabs me. I love the way it captures the messy existence that is being human and how it manifests in all of these different characters that are existing in this all-encompassing and soul-crushing war.
It's a project that is so unafraid of being itself that I can only stare at it and be wowed; filled with the will to create whatever insane things I want to make, every session rekindling a fire within myself.
Coquette is incredibly exciting and I am so glad that it exists. I love the cast to pieces (Xio is my pick for my scrunkle), I love the setting, I love its perversion, I love seeing a girl get put into a situation, and I love Wibbleburger. Fillie's design makes me insane (in a good way).
I don't think I could ever really fully articulate how great of a project I think this is and how captivated I am by it, but thank you so much for making this!!! I'm looking forward to Xio losing her mind more and for potentially more kinks to get dropped like Smash character announcements.
already, Coquette Dragoon has made itself a sterling example of everything the independent visual novel scene can achieve. a beautiful and stylish flourish, holistic in its excitement, that should be looked to for inspiration by anyone who might set out to make something of their own.
it reinvigorated my own enthusiasm to make cool queer art.

Sincere, great visuals and characters that are delightfully enjoyable and flawed - a really great little read, thank you!!
